You can record screen in your android 5.0+ without root but for lower than lollipop version of android devices , it requires root.
# Record screen in 5.0+ devices [ NO ROOT ]
1. Download And Install Screen Recorder app from the below link.
As shown in this picture , you should install this app and lunch it.
Remember , you must see this link because there are various fake apps in marked same named and icon.
2. Lunch Screen Recorder App
Open that app , you will see as same as it is in the above image.
3. Now Click On Start Recording
Now , click on the start recording to start your recording. You can record as much as you want. Jus click on the start recording icon as shown in photo
4. Recording Will Start
As you can see now , a popup message is shown that screen recording is started recording. You can clearly see in the picture.
5. To Stop Recording , Open Notification Bar And Click On Stop Icon
After you started recording , a new notification about screen recorder is visible and to stop you should click on stop icon. You can understand clearly by looking the above image.
6. Recording Will Save In New Folder { SScreen Recorder }
Now in your memory , a new folder named SScreen Recording is created and all your recordings are saved into your that new folder as shown in the photo.

7. Recording Will Save In New Folder { Rec. }
Now your recordings are saved into your memory in a separate folder called ' Rec. ' and you can found all your recordings are saved there in that folder.
